Professional Experience

Pía Arosemena has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the insurance brokerage sector, mainly leading management, finance, strategy and operations areas.

Founding partner of Kelpia Advisors, an insurance brokerage and strategic consulting firm. For more than 15 years, she was part of the executive team for Seguros Morrice y Urrutia, S.A. It was acquired in 2014 by Marsh & McLennan Companies, currently Marsh Panamá, S.A.

Currently, she is part of the Board of Directors for Grupo Siuma Corp., business group dedicated to real estate, talent consulting, corporate finance and expat relocation, which also provides consulting services in strategy, finance and operations management.

She is an affiliate of the Asociación de Directoras de Panamá, a non-profit organization that promotes women participation in corporate board of directors, through the development of programs for the selection, recruitment, empowerment and feedback of qualified executive women.

Graduated from Universidad Santa María La Antigua with a degree in Business Administration. She also has a master’s degree with emphasis in Finance from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología and a second master’s degree in Strategic Management and Logistics of International Trade from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Comercio Exterior.
